Default removing seats from a 98 civic dx to clean carpet

hi everyone,
i'm a grrrl with no car experience but my carpets are filthy gross. there is long hair (mine) embedded in the seat sliders, etc.
how can i remove the front seats from a 98 civic dx to clean carpet?
what tools do i need? is it easy? hard? thanks!

There are four I think 10mm sized bolts that hold each of the front seats down. The two on the front should be pretty obvious and the two in the back might be covered by a plastic trim (it'll be easier to unbolt if you slide the seat forward). The driver side seat is going to have a little cord attached to the bottom of the seat that you'll have to unclip before you could remove it (passenger side doesn't have it).

yup they are 12 cause i know i had to remove my old seats to put in 99si seats. its pretty easy. remove bolts, take out seats, clean how you like, put seats back in plug up sensor, rebolt and boom your good to go. wish i would have cleaned my car when i took my seats out too. o well to lazy to do it again. oh and if you can't lift the seats then have a brother or boyfriend take the seat out.

dont forget to unplug the seatbelt alarm wire on the drivers side seat before trying to pull it out.
