Default Curse you dizzy!!!

Well Im really hoping this is the cure. A while ago my car would run fine, idle fine but with that miss that I made a billion threads about. Finally about 900 miles into driving my fresh swap my CEL came on with a code 8 (tdc sensor) but would rin fine except for the exact second it came on it would bogg like mad then run perfect. Well over time it got progressivly worse. I had to wait until today for a paycheck to get another dizzy. Well yesterday I was driving to a buddies house about 5 miles away and about 1 mile from his house it totally took a shit. The car would bogg like mad, run super super rough, basically felt like I was running low on gas, but im not. I could not go 50ft without it stalling. Then it would get a clean spurt and run perfect, and the last .5mile it ran great. So when the night was over I had to drive home. It ran fine about .5 mile again then totally totally crapped out. I dont have a truck, all my buddies with trucks were working and I really didnt want to walk home since my cell phone is really crappy and never has service. So I just patiently drove it home.

WEll today I went and got a dizzy from a local junkyard. Mind you this is the ONLY integra/crv dizzy within the 6 junkyards in a 50 mile range of me that had one in stock. I got it, went home and pulled the cap only to find it totally stripped...no ignitor, no coil no nothing, just a hunk of metal with a cap. Even the rotor was missing. So i got my money back on that, came home and just messed with my ignition timing hoping i could get it to run.

Well now i start it up, and it dies within 5 seconds like it totally loses spark. Its now throwing a code 8 and a code 9 ---8 TDC - top dead centre sensor
9 CYP - cylinder sensor.

So this means that this dizzy is pretty much shit and i need a new one correct?

Maybe you just need to replace the ignitor and coil on yours?

It's cheaper and easier to replace the distributor with a used one from a junkyard...or from someone who has an extra.
