i saw this old thread...i have a kenwood head unit but i don't know how to change that setting on CD and i dont have the book.

check to see which remote turn on wire you used, some units have 2, one "antenna" trigger, which will only be energized when the radio is on and a "remote" trigger, which will be energized whenever the unit is powered on.

If this is not the case, give us more details about the stereo... as many as you can provide.

sweet bro,

i pulled the remote out of the amp and checked the wire 10v
then i swiched it to cd 0.10v

so i think that was it..i will let you know 2morrow when there is daylight

Thats what it is, you are using the rong remote wire comming from the back fo your radio. You are currently using the power antenna wire to turn onyour amp lol.
