Default oooo the choices....

Alright well its that lovly time of year again, tax return time. Im getting a good chunk of change this year so im left with a few options.
1. Get a new headgasket, arp head studs, block guard, rods, new synchros (tranny i just bought has 3rd and 4th going out)
2. Get a b18b full swap. either do a full rebuild, or rebuild/performance depending on the price of the motor i find.

They both have there appeals, on one hand my current motor is still running strong, and with a little build up could easily put close to 250. On the other hand, swapping gives me a motor with less miles (either bought with less or rebuilt for less) and after a few internal upgrades, stands to offer a better platform.

looks like i could have about 1300 or so to spend. I dont have specific power goals in mind, though i think im setting my bar for a healthy 250, which should be easy to get on the ls with the right turbo, hell i could get it with the d series, hence the difficulty of this decision lol

although I'm an advocate of twin cam, in your position with a smaller tax return I'd say go with the Z6 still. I'm all motor but shit, boosted d's are coo steez.

My tax returns =$2700 = k24a1 +dtr header + hybrid racing PNP harness.

and hopefully a few other things depending how much I decide to spend on the lady for valentines. She need some new victorias secret shit
