Default Im new to Honda/Acura so could somebody help me out with engine/car combos!

Hi,
Right now i drive a ford probe and it just isnt cutting it...so im lookin into a honda/acura. Ive only looked at one car so far and it was an intagra ls with a B20 swapped into it. He said it had 9:1 compression. <---is that stock or did he lower it for boost??? But the main reason i joined is to get better with my honda/acura knowledge. So, can you guys give me a headsup on what motor setups are best in what cars? I would like a CRX with the most powerful vtech i can get in it.

1. it is vtec not vtech. vtech is a phone.
2. i thought b20b compression was 8.8:1? but idk
3. what year is the crx? what are your hp goals? how much are you looking to spend?

There's two variants of the B20, the B20Z and the B20B. The B20B has 8.8:1 compression, with the B20Z having 9.1:1 compression. The benefit of this engine over a regular 1.8 liter B-series is the obvious advantage of 200cc extra displacement which equates to more torque.

You can do boost or NA, but sleeve the block before you boost it.
