There's two variants of the B20, the B20Z and the B20B. The B20B has 8.8:1 compression, with the B20Z having 9.1:1 compression. The benefit of this engine over a regular 1.8 liter B-series is the obvious advantage of 200cc extra displacement which equates to more torque.

You can do boost or NA, but sleeve the block before you boost it.
