Spielberg’s Mossad agents cry and brood a lot, unsure of themselves and why they are pursuing terrorists. Been there, seen that before – in the left-wing Israeli film Walk on Water. But it bears little resemblance to the real Mossad agents who hunted the terrorists. They were not metrosexual, sensitive guys – as badly as Spielberg and Kushner would like them to be. Like Golda Meir, they could not have been more certain of the just purpose of their mission.

I don't care. As far as I'm concenered the media etc. is so anti-Israel this is just another drop in the bucket. If they made it too pro-Israel people would say that the Hollywood execes who are Jewish are funding a propaganda speech. If they made it too pro-Arab, people would have a shitfit as well.
Having many family members who were involved with the Army/Mossad, I can say that they are bat-shit crazy, hard as nails and can/will kill you with their bare hands while being quiet and composed at the same time.
It wouldn't translate well onto film. Besides, much of the real story details are still classified.

Its great that you brought up this topic, because I've been dying to talk about another historically inaccurate series of films: The Lord of the Rings.
