flushing my tranny oil in my 5-speed 96 teg
i would like to use synthetic gear oil for my car do i have to drain the stock oil and flush out the tranny if so how do i and what do i use to flush it out. i have a 96 5-speed acura integra.
p.s. is red line a good synthetic gear oil or should i just stick wit honda mtl

Motor oil doesn't have the proper addititive package. Use Honda MTF.

:jawdrop: somebody should have told me that sooner. j/k. Synthetic motor oil is what i use and swear by. Go with what makes you comfortable dude. Proper addititive and all that shit I ain't concerned about. All my buddies with lsd both b16 and itr use synthetic motor oil and feel it is the best.
More power to you if you think you are smarter than Honda engineers. They have advanced engineering degrees and millions in R&D (building Formula 1 cars among other things) but I'm sure you and your buddies know more than them. Yeah.
