Is a EX head 8 or 16 valves? D16Z6

Step moms car may need a head and I have to start shopping to get my "ducks in a row".

Looking for a head and not sure which one I need yet. I'm taking the car apart tomarrow and I don't have it here. Thanks guys.

Thank you, I just found out it's the SOHC VTEC. I didn't think it was for some reason.
