hmmm...affordable mods...

comptech icebox, Toda header, Spoon catback...lol just kidding...

well first off if you search you'll find a lot...like, a LOT

really though, you should be able to find a short ram intake for around/under $100...just look around for headers and catbacks that you think would be affordable to you..."affordable" is a relative term...like for me, an affordable header would be like 250, and to that dude over there, an affordable header could be like 700...just decide how much you wanna spend and look around for ideas for intakes, headers, catalytic converters, and catback exhausts...

oh, and don't forget to get good suspension mods...more power is completely useless without proper suspension/chassis stiffening mods.

Default Q:

rugsr vbmenu_register("postmenu_2607680", true); - Yes it was given to me - I use to have a Jetta but i blew out the engine, and i don't want to fix it.

thumper vbmenu_register("postmenu_2607452", true); - I got about 400 bucks, but i would like to save up some more to really enhance the engine.

red94teg vbmenu_register("postmenu_2607494", true); - "what trim model of integra is it?" - new to this don't know the lingo? sorry

KaBlookie vbmenu_register("postmenu_2607684", true); - I was looking at some DropZone Struts/Shocks+Coilovers or MUGEN sport struts and springs but not sure if i want to start with the engine or suspension.

well there's a way of telling which trim model you have.

first off, look on the back of your car. if, on the passenger side, it has a DOHC VTEC badge, then that means you have a GSR. If it has a Special Edition badge, then you have an SE (Special Edition...lol), if you have drum brakes on the back, then you have an RS. if you have disc brakes on the back and no Special Edition or DOHC VTEC badges, then you have a GS or an LS (could someone clarify on the differences between the GS and the LS?).

as for deciding whether to start with the engine or the suspension (you're a good man for not being able to decide between these two...most ppl are like omfg intake header exhaust all the way bro and don't consider the suspension until they want their car to be lower...kinda gets to me sometimes...), I say drive the car for at least a month (the more time the merrier) and see what aspect of the car you'd like to see improve, then upgrade some parts accordingly.

hope this helps!

i would definately recommend starting slow...piece together little things as you go along....and put it into a 1:1 ratio like i did....
for every 100 i spent on my engine i spent 50-100 on suspension + brakes
it's a good way to build a really decent all around car....the more power u have the more suspension stuff is required to let that power really hit the floor...

if i remember correctly the only real diff is the GS is leather seats and i believe rear floormats...whereas the LS doesn't come w/ either....think im gunna look into it

what i did was first intake, header, exhaust, spark plugs, spark plug wires, and coilovers. now i'm going to start focusing on engine like new cam gears, pulley, intake manifold, throttle body, chipped ecu and then probably alittle bit of show. carbon fiber hood, jdm 1 piece headlights, and jdm type r carbon fiber front lip
