Default LS intake manifold removal

Hey guys... Im having some difficulty removing the manifold on a B18A1. Does anyone know any easy way to get to the bottom bolts of the manifold?? I got all the top ones off, but he ones on the bottom are a pain.

You have to remove the bracket holding the manifold on from underneath and then stick your arm up there with a socket wrench and get those bolts off. It isn't fun, but very doable if you have little asian hands.

ya when I did "spoonfed" intake manifold manifold those bottom bolts were a bitch. Just got to keep trying you will eventually get them. Should be easier if you remove the braket shmoo is talking about

I took the bracket off and chucked it as far as I could. It hasn't graced my car since. h:

when i put my engine back together, i left the bracket there but didnt bolt the bottom of it. you've got to have little hands, time, and nerves of steel to get it off--really, you have to have all 3 not just a couple. i dont have nerves of steel so ill end up breaking something or breaking myself to get that damn thing off. good luck and it might be easier to attack these bolts from underneath the car.

Tighten the easy ones back up to releave the pressure of the hard ones. It'll make it a little easier. Try a deep socket and an extention.
