Im swapping the timing belt and following the t-i.net instructions. Doesnt say anywehre that i have to support/brace the block. Do i need to do this, or will the other mounts support the weight??

no you need to do this because when you take the motor mount off, the engine will only be supported by the right motor mount and tranny mount. Also your gonna need to raise the engine a bit putting the mount back on.

Just take a hydralic jack and use a block of wood and jack it under the oil pan before you pull the motor mount.

so wood inbetween jack / oil pan! Good Luck!

It probably isn't necessary to support the motor since the rear, tranny and passenger side front mount will be plenty to hold it in.

If you want to be safe about it, just do like FooD says.
