2,500 dollars to spent for my RSX typeS
All race brothers,
OK guys I just bought a new RSX type s and I have $2,500 to blow on my new car. First what should I do? Hit it up with the engine as far as preformance upgrades ?? But should I wait for the engine because it is brand new right?? I need like serious professional assistance and there is no one professional in Florence, Alabama. This Car will be for serious Street racing in the future after I put some miles on it. Come on guys 2500 dollars how should I spent it??

hey man! to me you should go with some engine parts first, forget the body , i mean the rsx is sexy enough already, but dont waste too much also on the engine , jusst put things like intakes, throttle body , and some good hondadata chips, followed by some good headers, but other than that SAVE U"R MONEY
dont put exhaust or headers or any of that engine crap on your car. Its brand new and your gona void the warranty. dont drop it 3 inches later; its gona ride like hell and not be a luxury car at all anymore. wheels tint, and some good springs thatll give u a 1.5-1.75 inch drop. drive it for awhile before u put exhaust on it; if u do go catback only
Serious street racing?
If so put the 2500 dollars towards tasers and shock yourself with them. The road is for transportation not kids who think they can drive and end up killing innocent bystanders.
And if you're going to be a serious street racer (what an oxymoron, all street racers are 16 year old and overconfident) then at least research the different aspect of the car before you mod it. Throwing 2500 at a car's performance while still being new to it is going to be a hassle later on because you're reliability will go down as you mod the car and the higher your numbers get.
Most important would be putting at least a few hundred to drivers school/training. Becoming a better driver > having a fast car and not knowing how to drive it.
Everything said above, the 2500 should go to springs/coilovers, sway bars, drivers training, tires, intake, headers, Hondata. If you are goingturbo however you can use the last 3 mods.
And I don't recommend an exhaust unless you're getting it solely for looks and sound becuase there is no noticeable gain to be found, a few hp at most.
