I need help turning off the maint. light on my acura rsx type-s... Please send me the info asap... I'm sick of seeing it while I'm driving and the dealer won't reset it unless I pay to do the 60000 mile service from them only...

Did you install new seats? Did you remove the cat? Is the gas cap tightened at least 3 clicks (I forget which light that causes but I think its the CEL)? Has anything bad happened to your engine? Have you maintened the engine?

 

its set off by the odometer for a oil change
with the ignition off hold down the button to reset the trip (the right one) while turning on the ignition and it will blink for a few second and then it will go away

 

yea that.... shouldnt take more than 10 seconds
