Default Dash removal on 2001 Honda Accord V6

Hi guys,

My 2001 Honda Accord V6's LCD Odometer light has gone dimmed and was wondering if I need to replace the bulb on it. Does it have the same bulb as the one for the clock? Does anyone have an instruction as well on removing the dash so I can access the odometer and probably replace the bulb on it?

Thanks in advance. Sorry I'm a noobie here.

I think it is a bulb, you will have to get that bulb from a honda dealer. Just tell him the location of the bulb, they can look up the rest.

The cluster should pull out provided you remove the 2 upper screws.

It's the gauge cluster, not the dash. You need to remove the two screws on the top of the bezel, then the 4 screws that hold the cluster in, then tip, unplug, and pull out. You'll have to pull on the bezel hard the first time to get it out I remember.

Cool thx for the info guys!!! I was able to remove the six screws total on the gauge cluster, tipped it and was able to access the bulb from there. I didn't have to remove the whole gauge cluster to remove the bulb. There's a whole bunch of bulbs in the cluster and I was able to find the one for the dimmed odometer and replaced it. It cost 3.50 to replace that single bulb. Took me 20 minutes max to do it and I thought I would have to take it to the shop to have it fixed. Thanks again. for the info. Another happy noobie from this forum.
