Why not just spend the extra few $k and buy the S instead of trying to do the conversion?

(Details noted w/ (*) are for MY05+ only!)

Base: 160hp/141tq (155hp/137tq SAE Corrected) - Your choice of a 5 Speed Automatic with SportShift or 5 speed manual. Your choice of leather wrapped Type-S seats or cloth. No spoiler.

Type-S: 210hp/143tq (201/140tq SAE Corrected) - Your choice of a 6 speed manual or a 6 speed manual or a 6 speed manual. (*) 17" rims factory.

There's tons of details I'm missing, such as the Type-S getting a rear sway bar and a thicker front upper strut, and some other stuff.

Maybe Samson can fill in the stuff I missed.

what differences are you interested in? the type s has better brakes along with other mechanical differences.

However, interior wise, they are virtually identical, minus the 6 disk changer+ sub and the standard leather in type s models.

If you are trying to decide which one to go with. Just get the type-s. You will be alot happier in the end. They are an awesome car.
