Default turbo block:All motor

I have a b18c1 W/ low compression forged srp pistons and rods. Now im putting the head (stock gsr) on the block. My budget aint gonna let me finish the turbo setup but i have enough to get a header and run all motor. I understand the concept of compression and the difference from hight to low. but what tuning strategies should i consider since running low compression pistons and running all motor. I heard to advance the timing, but no specific detail. Is it worth trying to race like that.

Keep the low compression pistons out and put the stock ones back in until you have enough money to complete the project or decide to sell the pistons and rods.

Your power will suck big time and you will get beat by lightly modded LS's, so you should take those pistons out while the head is still off.

Just run it as it is, but don't waste your money on N/A mods if you want to go turbo later. I ran N/A for about a year on SRP 9.5:1 pistons until I had enough for the turbo. It's not going to be as fast as you want it to, but that's the price you pay for being smart and doing a budget build.
