When I try to take the CD out, it reads CD Err. Can I get it out? Called Honda but they say that they do not touch the player and will need to send it back to manufacturer which shall cost a lot of dough to get the CD out..please help
This is what you do....The dash part that surrounds your radio temp controls and vents pops out. But there are a couple of screws holding it in place. I suggest using a magnatized philips. Pop the dash clock out and unhook that there is a screw behind it. The air conditioning knobs come off also, so remove those too....Once you have the dash faceplate off there are four screws holding in your cd player. If you have the kind that is just the cd player and the radio is atop of that then just seperate the two. Then get to work on the cd player. Rule of thumb if you factory is crewin up buy a new one.
does anyone know how I can open up my current honda stock player (1999)? Have installed a new deck in place of honda deck..but CD is still stuck in Honda deck
