I just bought a preowned Acura 1994. I hadnt driven a auto trans. car before so I'm not sure about the severity of this problem.
It seems that for lower gears the shift is very slow. It takes a few seconds before car goes into next gear. I think i'm pushing the gas upto specified safe level.
Original owner of the car had a smaller muffler installed, which is making tapping noise. I dont know if the two problems are related.
Please suggest how the two problems could be solved.
