Default ready to build my motor.

Well I have an LS setup and the moment. (95) I just got a typeR head. Took it to the machine shop and had it decked,ls/vtec ready, and sandblasted. I wanna change my crank and pistons to B16cank and b16 pistons. What do I need from what motor to make this work? Thanks guys. pics will be up soon.

PS. What is the diffrence between type r and b16 head besides the cams. Thanks.

i dont think you would want to use a b16 crank. if you want to destroke it without losing too much displacement look into a gsr crank/rods.

a type r head has mild port work and different valvesprings

you would basically be destroking it to 1.6L if you used the b16 crank. i dont even know if it will fit in a b18 block. :dunno:
