Default D15 to D16??

I was just wondering how hard of a swap this is. Im not doing it for performance reasons, I am doing it because I think i hydro-locked my engine the other night with my cai and now I need a swap and this is guy is offering me a d16z6 for 700 dollars and i cant find any d15b7's around here for sale. I was just wondering what else I will need apart from the engine itself to put in my 94 civic dx. Will my DX 1.5 headers and intake manifold fit on the EX engine? I kno I need the VTEC wires or whatever but what else will i need to get apart from the 1.6 distributor and the VTEC wires?

you need the ecu too. As far as complexity, the only swap that would be easier is replacing it with another D15B7

Keep the Z6 intake manifold. Aside from the Vtec, it's pretty much plug and play. Pull it out, bolt it in. Get a short ram and you won't have that hydrolock problem

Go to
http://www.car-part.com/. There's alot of D15B7's in junkyards that might run good. Maybe even D16's.

Check it out.

You'll need a P28 ECU from a 92-95 civic EX (or Si in canada). Any D-series intake manifold will work but get the Z6 mani for less headaches. Otherwise you'll need the coolant tube from the engine that matches the intake manifold.
