I just blew on of my old alpine type-r subs and am trying to figure if I should replace or upgrade, I have had them for about 2 years but recently upgraded to a 1000 watt memphis amp, which I was running with the gain all the way down and no bass boost until I got in a competition w/ a friend...., but I am looking for 2 12's that handle 500+ rms. Also should I also get another box or will the subs just drop in?

 

I have two Rockford Fosgate HX2 Subs that I wish to sell. I bought them for like 230 a piece a little over a year ago. These subs are sweet. They fit the perameters that you are looking for. Each sub has a power handling of 100 watts and an RMS of 500. The most I ever pushed these subs at was around 345 watts each, they havent even been pushed at RMS rating. I would be willing to sell them for 200 shipping included.
