Default Old cars are not bad!

For those of you who drive late model cars, are you sometimes embarrassed when people ask you what car you drive, especially, if you are single. I think it should be good to say you drive an older car with high miles, it shows character. Honestly, I am proud to have my car (1990 Accord) on the top stolen cars list, at least somebody likes it .

I like older cars anyways because I like to own everything I have and not make payments on it. I consider cars toys and pretty much a non essential item (they still make bicycles ya know), more like a convenience.

This coming from a guy who owns 6 vehicles currently h:

Luckily since I live in a college town, having a Miata is enough to impress chicks.

Age ain't nothin' but a number.
I may be "just" driving a DC4 with a few bolt-ons, but I see no reason to apologize for it. Given how fast depreciation set in, I'm glad I own my car outright.

not that my 99 accord is old, but I'm going to drive it into the ground. I don't care how long I have it or what people think. I've got 127K on the odometer right now and I plan on getting her up to 200+ It looks nice and I get compliments on it so age doesn't mean anything. Hell the next car I'm going to get is an early 90s Z, that way I don't have to worry about OBDII and all that crap.
