I heard a snap in my driver side door the other day, and when i tried rolling the windows down, the window just dropped down and won't go back up.
So my question is how do i remove the driverside door panel without breaking anything?
And if there is anything i should know about the power window motor and regulator ? When i go to try and fix it.
I can still hear the motor moving when i press the up and down for the windows, so im hoping its all still ok, and it just came off track or something.

Just had this happen to me on my 98 Civic EX. The door motor regular broke, but mine kept working for a while. My door panel is now off, I'm looking for a new motor/regulator combo unit, and will have to replace it.

Your windows might be (have been) stuck because the cable system locked up.

Since I'm having similar problem now, interested to hear how you resolved this.
