So i need a new tranny and im lookin for a great price somewhere and i found one for $50 but its from a H23. Will this fit my H22?

 

yea a tranny out of any model 4th or 5th gen prelude (92-00) are universal.

 

it'll fit, but the gear ratios are different. the h23 gears are longer, and you might not be able to upshift into VTEC as easily as you could with an M2Y4

yes gears are longer specifically 3rd gear, i prefer the Si (m2s4) over the h22a (m2a4) tranny since 3rd gear ends around 95mph, and this has won races for me
and i have NEVER fallen out of vtec while shifting with the Si non-vtec tranny (m2s4).

all H series and F series trannys and blocks will bolt to each other
