i just put a d16z6 into my crx and its slower than my 1.5 liter mini me motor that was in there. the motor has an adjustable can gear so i was thinking that it was the timing, so i played with it a little, advanced it 4 degrees and its defidentially faster but still slower than my 1.5 liter. i cant time it because the engine didnt come with a timing belt cover and the one on my 1.5 liter dosent fit, its to wide by like 2 inches. so i have so mark to time the engine off of. does anyone know of any techcniques that could help me time the car better?
