B-Series Swap Wiring
I know when you swap a B-series VTEC engine into a none vtec car you need to add some wiring. However if you start with an Si which is already vtec then would everything just plug in and off you go?
My swap is comming with the b16 wiring harness, does that mean it's cut at the firewall or what? Because I was searching all night for this shit too, I'm doing a swap in about 12 days and I totally forgot about the wiring.
The G2 Racer: For an EG, It's not entirely plug and play, you still have to move a few wires around in the shock tower plugs, but it's really close to it.
Omniscient: it's likely it's unplugged at the shock towers, unless it's stated that it's cut, then who knows what you're going to get...

on an EG SI? no wires to run into the cabin, just move a couple around at the shock tower is all. It took me maybe 20 minutes to wire up my VX for my swap after I got the hang of pulling the pins out of the connector.
In the situation you mentioned, the B16 will need a knock sensor wire if wanted.
The B18C will need a knock sensor and IAB wire.
