Default Vigor wont start

Ok I have a 93 Vigor. Never had any signs of trouble. Well one day Im driving and it sputters out and dies. So I push it home...as it will not start. I pull the plug wires and notice the VC gasket is leaking around the plugs...covering the plugs in oil. I change the VC, the plugs and the wires...the car stars right up and runs for about 5 mins. Then it proceeds to sputter and die like before. Now it wont start. There is no oil onthe plugs or wires anymore....And I checked fuel and spark (orange spark). Now I am at a loss. Any of you guys have ideas?

If VC you mean valve cover, and you found oil covering the plugs, then I believe that's something major. Any other signs? Like leaking fluid around the head gasket? Something like this, you better have a mechanic to pull off the valve cover and check for you.

The oil in the plugwells is a common problem. It's the spark plug o-rings. Did you change these with the valve cover gasket?

Try starting it again...if it starts cold but dies hot we can diagnose it. If it's just not starting at all that's a whole 'nother troubleshooting route.

Is it cranking over, but not starting?

How many miles are on the car, and have you checked your timing belt?
