i need some advice on buying an rsx..hopefully so i wont get ripped off


im looking for a base model 05' rsx (cloth, auto)

the asking price for the rsx is 22k...

how much should i haggle the price down too?

invoice is around 18k..how much did others here buy it for?

start your price at 18K + destination + $500. Then go up in $250 increments.

currently there is no incentie in CA except for a $199/month lease with $1500 down.

I was able to get the dealer to offer $2500 off of a RSX-S about 2 months ago without even trying. I passed on the car and bought something else but RSX isn't exactly flying off the lots in CA.

 

Just wonderin why you chose the base??? IMO I'd get a 04' Type-S with a great price tag since the 05's are out now. Probably get it for the same price as a 05 base.

 

my dealer is offering an rsx-s to me (no options) for $22,258 with destination...

what do you guys think? its about $100 above invoice

 

I like the type-s man, definitely better than the base in options :goodjob:
