i am gettin a jdm b16a vtec i was wondering if it would fit my b18 tranny on my 91 ls tegra and if i would need a new ecu and if i do what do should i get and the prices

 

i will fit but i do not recommend it. the ls gears are too long for a b16a.

 

if your planning to boost the tranny should be ok !

then in that case do what Mr. snoopy told you..

 

The car will be kind of sluggish because the ls has longer gears then the b16 tranny. You should be able to pick up a cable b16 or b17 tranny for pretty cheap. I would highly recomend going with shorter gears. The ls tranny will be too long IMO unless you run smaller tires or plan to have tons of power and need the top-end...
