$427 !?!??! Wtf!!!!
Our landlord just started not including heat (gas heat) and so we have to pay our own now.
He just installed a new high effency furnace for just our appartment.... how the hell does ONE MONTH come out to $427 for natual gas heat?
The water heater might be on that too.... but it can't be using that much!

gas/electricity total comes out to a MAX of 200 during the winter months, for my house...
did he bill you, or did the gas company?

happens...but it does seem a tad bit high. We pay about $500/month during winter months to heat a 2000 sq ft house.

whoa. that is waaaay too much. when i used to pay for gas, i dont think i ever paid more than 20 dollars

there's noone else in the building right now. the other appartment is empty, has been since 1/1/05

gas leak in the furnace? or maybe the gas in the other apartment is shut off never seen anyone use that much gas ever

first bill? if so you should check if the gas company charges according to a billing date. Might be for morw then just 1 month.
