Default my kitchen sink isn't working right... any ideas?

when i turn it all the way on it just comes out slowly... if it slowly turn it on, it will start to increase, but then half way up it'll make a "clunk" sound and then just start trickling again. any ideas?

this is the kinda faucet that just has one lever.. up to turn it on, left for cold water, right for hot water

replace your your faucet the piece that drops down when you turn the lever (internal) is loose and will only work if used slowly. either that or try and make sure all the screws are tightened on the faucet itself

take apart and inspect. something came loose, or a piece of rubber is worn out usually. you can get all the pieces to fix a faucet at any hardware store. no need to buy a whole new one unless you want a more modern looking one.

Unscrew the screen on the faucet and clean the sand out of there. If this is the only sink affected, that is probably it.
