as the title says it, i need to remove my tail light and i already unscrewed the 3 bolts but something seems to be holding it down... this is the light on the body not the one on the trunk lid.

There could be a clip holding it in. Check around the light to see and if you can't see any, give it a firm push out and maybe it will clear the clip. Not many people on these forums has experience with the newer civics, so good luck.

And may I ask why you are taking your taillight off? I hope you aren't putting altezzas on.

 

i'm not sure if they're altezzas but they're clear cover with black backing so it'll match the color of my car which is black.. i found out elsewhere that i'll have to remove the bumper to get to a clip underneath the tailight assembly.
