Default sorry, again, i'm new at this :P

i bought my car in may and its got alot of miles and all but when you start the car, it revs back from 1-3 if you know what i mean? is that normal?

It's a common problem. It could be a few things, like a vacuum leak or a stuck/bad Idle Air Control Valve.

Until it warms up... it may shift the idle RPMs a lot... be worried if it does this while the car is fully warmed up (ie the temp needle is in about the middle of the gauge)

***edit: but not 2K rpms... I was thinking of like 250-500... maybe funky IACV?
