i dont know why its doing it...... fukin shizznat. anybody had similar problmes?

 

that'll happen if you're running the amp say at 1 ohm when its only 2ohm stable. what kind of amp do you have? what is the amps impedance(how many ohms is it stable to?) what is the impedance of the subs and how many of them are you running and how? Are they SVC, DVC, how are they wired?

 

how did you solve it the last time you had that problem....you should dig up that thread and try the other suggestions.

 

If its not what 94uhkord said, then try this: Where do you have your amp mounted? Is it getting enough air? Do you have it mounted in a way that the top of the amp is upside down? Do you have your gains turned all the way up?

^i think ventalation was the solution he tried last time....

 

yeah i tried ventalation and turning the gains down..
but now i want more bass and it heats up faster .. maybe its just the crappy weather .. but this is ridicolous..
as for what 94uhkord said.. i have no clue about the #'s on the amp or the subs cause i got them used.

 

What brand of amp is it? There's got to be a model on it, we can get you the information from there.

Some brands tend to overheat more than others, btw.

i bet you have the wrong impedence subs. pull themout and see if you can see what impedence they are. some subs say on the basket.
