DAMMIT... my amps overheating again...

How do you have your subs wired to the amp? Do you have them parallel-wired or series-wired? The way you wire them to the amp will have an effect on how hard your amp works because of the ohm load.

Subwoofer info:
TXS1040
TERMINATOR 10” Subwoofer
Available in 4 ohm ; 125 Watts RMS / 250 Watts Total Power 92 dB Sensitivity ; 26 Hz -3.5 kHz Frequency Response (4 Ohm) ; 1-1/2" Voice Coil ; 28 oz. Magnet ; Treated Fiber Cone with Black Foam Surround ; 4-7/16" Mounting Depth Asymmetrical Linear Drive with vented, extended pole piece and flat progressive spider ; Black Kapton Voice toil Former Deep Bumped Basket ; One Year Limited Warranty
By what you are saying, you probably have it hooked up by parellel, and when you hook up a 4ohm amp to two 4ohm subs the amp will see a 2ohm load. So the problem could be that your amp is unstable at 2ohms, which is why it overheats and shuts off. The amp could be the problem, don't rely on me only though, wait untill someone else, maybe Will confirms.

looks to me like the subs are drawing too much power from the amp causing it to overheat. i suggest getting a bigger amp. 55w into each channel on 4ohm subs is nowhere near enough power to effectively push them. this draws more power from the amp causing it to overheat. get a bigger amp and it should solve your problems.
