single bend is for the G2's, dual bend is for the G3's.....that is all.

^ I agree!

I have the Skunk 2 dual bend on my G3. The added weight of the shifter results in smoother and more positive shifting. The shifter utilizes sealed bearings and therefore has a smooth motion without binding. It's also made of a high strength alloy so I highly doubt this shifter is going to break.

I don't believe the single bend is better then the dual or vice versa.

Beware of any shifter off of ebay. They tend to snap after a few hard shifts due to poor casting techniques.

I was looking at these as well. Are they easy to install, or is it best left to a mechanic (dealer)? Any recommendations of brands for my G3?
