Default Noise on radio

After the shop took over a week to fix an electrical problem in the dash, my radio has EMF noise an the AM stations. It is really bad when going under an overpass on close to any power lines.

Since I normally only listen to FM, I did not discover this problem for some time. Any help please.

I would just bring it back, sounds like a ground issue or antenna wire.

AM radios are horrible for inducing noise. Like stated before, take it back and tell them the problem, but I'm afraid it might be somewhat hard to fix.

The problem with taking it back is that they claim "It could not be because of something they did" so they want 75.00$ an hour to fix it.

Did it have these noises before you took it in? I always noticed that AM radios had a buzzing on them when going under power lines and overpasses. The power lines emit some interference that causes the buzzing. As far as the overpasses, many cities run electrical under bridges too.
