Default turbo vtec

now i swore blind that id never turbo my vtec but i drove one the other day and it was brilliant, granted it wouldnt rev 0ver 7k and your carnt keep it flat out allllll day long but while the car is off the road this winter.........

iv had the block rebored because the bores were badly glazed, and iv ordered a spoon 1800cc (over size) stroker kit and a mugen thick head gasket, i have a mate who can make the manifold and down pipe and weld a return into the sump, a local piping company are making the oil feed pipe, and i already have an intercooler and boost pipe set, what im stuck with is the mapsensor and the advance/retire for when it comes on and off boost?

at the moment the B16a1 has a ported and polished head, spoon cams spoon cam gears spoon valve springs, a spoon fly wheel, tokyo express throttle bodie, custom stainless exhaust system, apexi air intake and filter apexi vafc2, rective leads, hks plugs, wet nos kit with 75bhp jets and a few other little bits, including je pistons but there coming out for the stroker kit

if anyone can help me on the mapping/electronics side of the job it would be very appriciated,

heres a pic of the car at maxpower this year:

Well all the parts you have and ordered arent good for turbo. The stroker kit and headgasket are just going to up compression which is bad. And those spoon cams have a larger overlap which isnt helpful. Basically you need to sitdown and decide what you want to do. If you want to do turbo you might as well start over with a different block. Build a b18c or something.

The stroker kit you just bought doesn't fit your engine. Do not install it, as you could do serious damage to the motor.

It is designed for the B16B, which has a different deck height than the B16A.

If your pistons haven't shipped yet, you may be able to get a custom set with the wrist pin moved slightly, allowing you to use the stroker kit.
