I was wondering if I can use a ecu from a 93 Honda Integra that has a b16a it for my ls vtec setup? Its an obd 1 and so is my car(95 LS).
Thanks for anyhelp
I mean it will feed it enough fuel and everything will work properly? Is there anything that needs to be reprogramed to make the ls vtec work right?
Thanks
if u have a b16a head u should be fine and not run into to many problems but it should work other wise but probably would be best to use b16 head with the b16 ecu but yea it should work fine
So the ignition maps and fuel curves is the same for like a b17a, b16a and say a gsr?
Same? No. Close? Yes.
The B16A will run a little lean for a B18C, while a P61/B17A will split the difference. I would still suggest a V-AFC or similar and some dyno time to perfect the fuel curve. The ignition timing is similar through all three and will work fine (although a stand alone would be the ideal setup in any case.)
