What do lsd trannys come out of because mine is screwed....(gsr t3t4 w/nitrous) my car clicks/clunks when i make turns ONLY when im accelerating not coasting so i replaced the cv shafts thinking it was the joints WRONG so we came to the conclusion that it was the differential.....so is there any way i can get just an Lsd differential or do i have to get the whole tranny? Where would i get one and What car/engine combination do they come with??? please help!

 

I think that they only came on the JDM cars. The JDM ITR, GSR and CTR all came with LSD's as an option if I'm not mistaken. Personally I would get an aftermarket LSD from Quaife (badazz LSD IMO) or Kaatz (I think) if there is nothing else wrong with the tranny. They go for a around $700-$1000

hmmm...interesting, now alll i have to do is round up a thousand bucks and pull apart a tranny with a million moving parts...YIppEE is there anything else i should know?

 

just buy the whole tranny with lsd still in it...
