I am doing a SOHC turbo kit on my d16y8 in my 00 ex civic in about a week. I researched a few turbos and was wondering if my stock injectors will handle the fuel for 7 psi or so. Does anyone know what CC the stock injectors are as well as if they are saturated or peak/hold? I heard that some turbo ppl use prelude injectors cause they are 290 and i think the EX ones are only 210....does anyone know if the prelude ones clip right in and work? I am probably gonna snag the stock injectors of my buddies prelude...he got a JRSC and is doing some RC 310's

 

don't most of the turbo kits have it's own injectors in the kit??

If you're getting a complete kit, then you could run stock injectors.

 

You're good to 200 hp @ the fly on stock injectors. They're saturated 240's btw. I think preludes are peak/holds which require a resistor box and new clips.

 

Thanks guys, it seems to me that neither the DRAG 3 or FMAX kit comes with new injectors. I don't even think they come with a new fuel pump and i'm still confused on the fuel management units they come with and how they work...What if i want to run around 7 psi on stock internals for around 170 whp intercooled? Wouldn't that be above 200 @ the fly? I'm just asking cause my buddy is getting rid of his 290 lude injectors so i thought i'd give it a shot.

 

DOHC GReddy kit comes with 310cc injectors but without a fuel pump.
