Default friend needs help......

k, one of my friend just installed a DC header on his 95 civic... well he had to extend the o2 sensor but he didn't put any electrical tape... yeah, its stupid... but we already got him on that one....
the wires was on top of the distributor when he started it... and nothin, it wont start... we are thinking that its his distributor.... but he got CEL...

he's car is different than my oo civic... how do i check for CEL code on a 92-95 civic... he has 2 plugs, one with 3 wires and the other is 2 wires....... i hot wired the one with 2 plugs but no codes, all i see blinkin is the SRS light.... i didnt wanna touch the 3 wire plug and cause bigger trouble......

thanks...

on the kick panel on the pass side...above the computer, you have to get up there and look..there are 2 wires covered w/ a green rubber, pull that down and take out the one w. 2 wires, get a paperclip open it up and stick it in...CEL will start to blink, long blinks are = to 10 short = 1 then add it up and you get the code.
