Default Injectors ticking?

Is it possible for injectors to develop a ticking sound? I adjusted my valves today because they were way out of spec. from the swap and most of the noise around the valvecover is gone but it's pretty loud around the injector/fuel rail area. Is it possibly the injectors and if so is there a cure other than getting new ones?

yea your injectors can be ticking but I would check to see if your spark plug wires are going out...... One major culprit is where the sparkplug wire clips to the sparkplug...... the spark usually grounds its self to the engine body ( head) just start pulling them one by one.... if you notice it stopping at all on either one chaces are that you got a bad wire

and yes, there is a cure other than getting new ones. RC Engineering will balance and recalibrate used injectors for MUCH less than buying new injectors.

www.RCengineering.com (I think)

There is also a place named http://www.cruzinperformance.com/ in Grand Rapids that cleans and flowmatches for MUCH less money than RC.
