Default Engine vibrations

Hello, I got a problem with my Integra. Problem started as short vibration-shots coming from the engine, now it is vibrating all the time. Vibration is not strong, though sufficient to have the glove compartment or side panel rattle when standing in gear, very very annoying.
Car runs a bit rougher and will occasionally drop dead when startd warm.
Tried to change spark plugs, spark plug wires, distributor cap and rotor, fuel filter, used a clean injector in the tank .... it stayed the same.
Could be the fuel pump behaving weird? Will a fuel pressure gauge say anything about this? Any other idea?

Look at your motor and see if its moving around in the engine bay.

if its running REALLY rich i could see that maybe...more likely its a mount.
i have a partially torn drivers side mount and my dash rattles a bit just like you described.

Thanks for the hint,
it could be the engine mount however the engine running rougher and idle-dip when warm-starting came all along with these annoying vibrations (car was doing great and very very smooth until then), so I really believe it is something with the fuel injection or a kind of misfire, ignition coils ....?
Any additional idea ??? Anybody there had same kind of problem? (..and solved it

I have a similar issue with my Honda Civic and posted as well, if you get any clues or anything can ya let me know? i'll keep an eye out just the same. thanks.

do the O2 diagnostic as per the helms or chiltons, to make sure your O2 heater is operational. the engine runs full rich when cold and accounts for it, but once warmed up it samples the O2 sensor...problem is that when your not making hot exhaust (idling and low speed driving), the O2 sensor isnt hot enough to give a stable output. this is where the heater circuit becomes necessary to prevent the car from running rich.

on the other hand when your on the highway and making horsepower the O2 is above 600*F from the EGT. so it reads accurately...

here: try taking the car out for a spirited drive...ie. get it over 4000 rpms on the highway for a few minutes, beat on it.

pull over
then see if it idles a little better.

if the car idles/runs better after being on the highway...
then it sounds like it could be the O2 heater or the heater circuit.

Hello, I guess the oxygen sensor is not really expensive, the part costs somewhere between 30 and 70$ plus labour. However I have tried to warm the sensor up driving "happily" and things did not get any better so I guess there is no real evidence for it to be responsible of my problem..... actually I do believe it is something electrical since vibrations get much worse (stronger and higher frequency) as I turn the vent to maximum !
Maybe the alternator does not give enough voltage or I have a corted element in the battery ?
