Default Clear coat on my Konigs peeling off, can anyone help?

Okay, so I have 17" Konig Toxxins and they have been on the car since March or April. Last week I noticed the clear coat on the polished lip was peeling slightly. The other day, I noticed the clear coat peeling in large amounts.

I wash my wheels regularly, wax them and use Meguires Hot Rims occasionally.

I emailed Konig, but to my surprise they haven't replied.

Can anyone offer some assistance/suggestions in this matter?

Thanks for your help guys!

Mike

PA, salt, winter... h:

Pittsburgh sucks.

Unless Konig will take them back and give you a new set, I think you're going to have to call up an auto body shop, and see how much to clear coat em. OR call up a powerdercoating place, and see how much to powdercoat.

I know a guy who used some fine grit sand paper and sanded them down and put like 10 coats of clearcoat from pep boys on them and they look new. hope that helps.

They never touched the salt. I got them in December and put them on in April when it stopped snowing.
