i had some p/s fluid that got on the inside of my hood...i took off my c/f hood and tried to clean it and it wont come off...it looks like is eat away at the black sh!t thats there. what should i do? i was thinking of painting black but that is probably a dumb arse idea that i came up w/ at 12:15 at night..any help would be great thanks.
remove power steering...hehe just a thought...but yeah I suggest to at least try spraying with simple green and see if that will take it off..it should simple green takes off just about anything

it looks like its ate away at the black coating sh!t....on my last hood didnt have enough and i got heat spots on the c/f thats the only reason im worried about it i dont care that its on the underside, just worried about the heat getting to it. and now that im thinking of it, its also oil, i was working on my car w/ my boy and i forgot to tighten my valve cover back tight...and it was leaking through the valve cover gasket:doh:
