I just got a recall notice for my 99 3.2TL concerning the ignition. It says that the electrical contacts in the igintion switch can wear prematurely causing the engine to stall without warning. etc. I talked to the dealer today and they said that if your 99 3.2TL is one of the affected units you will recieve a letter. I never had this problem although my car would make a metallic tick tick sound when I was cranking it. Although I was told that this was normal. I think that this might be b.s. though. We'll see when they put in the new ignition. Hope it was okay to post this here. I saw that there were some posts here concerning the ignition of 99 tl's.

 

I had to pay two hours + of labor because my alarm was tapped into those wires on the recalled part. Oh well, live and learn.
