Default help me! What is REMOTE TURN ON aka POWER CONTROL, SYSTEM CONTROL, and REM?

What is it? And where does it go? Oh I have an 89 civic hatch. It's the only thing not hooked up and my amp and subs aren't working, and I think it's because of that. HELP ME PLEASE!!!

remote turn on is a wire from the radio ( aftermarket ) that hooks up to your amps.
Once you turn on the radio it sends a 12v signal to the amps to turn them on.

On Sony radios its a blue wire with a white line on it.

your aftermarket headunit has a remote turn on wire that goes to your amp. your subs isnt working because the amp isnt turned on. what headunit are you using? if you are using the OEM headunit, you can run a wire from the antenna to the remote turn on on the amp.
