Default Question about Prelude speakers

Hi. I have a 5th gen prelude, and I currently have the stock speakers in my car. I wanted to install some aftermarket speakers I got, but I'm slightly confused because there are four wires in the speakers now (I was told the extra two wires were for the built in amp that came with my original head unit) and there doesn't appear to be a spot to hook up more than two on the new speakers. Do I have to keep those extra two wires hooked up to something? What should i do?

Thank you in advance for your help!

The stock system is amplified. Unfortunately, if you are going to replace the speakers, you have to replace the stereo also. The stock stereo will not be able to power your new speakers. Once you have the new stereo in, you only need to hook up two wires to each speaker.
